Interior Architecture:
Interior architecture is about shaping the way a space works, feels and flows. Each project is approached with a considered and holistic mindset, taking into account the building, its location and context, while making the most of the opportunities within each space.
From reconfiguring layouts and improving circulation to developing bespoke elements and selecting materials, every detail is considered as part of the bigger picture. Offering detailed design services through to RIBA Stage 4, I enjoy working closely with project teams to develop and deliver detailed design packages that bring the vision to life.
Technical Design:
Technical design is where the concept is developed through detail and translated into a clear, buildable design. Spaces are brought to life through detailed floor plans, elevations, sections and construction details, ensuring the design intent is clearly communicated at every stage.
From developing layouts and material specifications to detailing bespoke elements and joinery, every drawing is carefully considered to ensure the design works both visually and technically. Working closely with project teams, I create detailed packages that provide clarity and direction through to delivery.
FF&E Design
This is where the finishing touches bring a space together, from furniture and lighting to accessories, fabrics and equipment. Developing the furniture, fittings and equipment (FF&E) for each space is an integral part of creating a successful and cohesive design, ensuring every element responds to the needs of the user while complementing the overall look and feel of the scheme.
Each element is carefully selected with quality, functionality and aesthetics in mind, while also considering budget and procurement routes. From the key furniture pieces to the finer details, every choice works together to create a space that feels considered, purposeful and complete.
Project Co-ordination
Keeping projects on track, on budget and moving smoothly from design through to delivery. I work closely with clients, consultants and suppliers, coordinating communication and monitoring progress against agreed project programmes and key milestones.
A clear and organised approach helps keep every aspect of the project moving in the right direction. Regular reviews, careful coordination and attention to detail ensure the design is delivered to the right quality, within the agreed budget and in line with the overall project vision.
